About Connective Therapies

Connective Therapies

Hi, I’m Kylie! I own and run Connective Therapies. I’m an Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner with a Master’s in Applied Behaviour Analysis and more than 10 years working with some of the toughest situations—in schools, hospitals, crisis teams, and right in family homes.

Everything I do is grounded in solid ABA science, wrapped in trauma-informed care, and 100 % NDIS-compliant. But most importantly, it has to actually work in real life and keep everyone safe.

What you’ll actually get from me

Positive Behaviour Support that makes sense

  • Quick interim safety plans (sometimes within a couple of days if things are urgent)
  • Proper Functional Behaviour Assessments
  • Plans that are clear, practical, and written for parents and support workers—not just for auditors
  • Hands-on training so everyone feels confident
  • Help to reduce or get rid of restrictive practices
  • Regular catch-ups so the plan keeps working as life changes

Crisis & safety support

I’m CPI-certified and have spent years in real crisis settings – hospitals, schools, and family homes when things are at their toughest. I can help you de-escalate safely in the moment, build clear personalised safety plans, and give families and support teams practical training in proactive strategies, early warning signs, and safe responses. Most importantly, we’ll work together on longer-term ways to reduce behaviours of concern so crises happen less often and feel far more manageable when they do.

Supervision for practitioners

Registered NDIS practitioner (with the 8-hour PBS training completed). Practical, supportive supervision for Core, Proficient, and Advanced practitioners—helping you with the NDIS registration application, stay registered, and feel confident with the tricky stuff.

Why families keep choosing me ❤️

  • I specialise in complex needs and higher-risk behaviours – the cases I love and have the most experience with.
  • My plans get approved first go because they’re thorough but still usable every single day
  • I’ve spent more than a decade walking alongside amazing people and their families, helping them build skills, confidence, and happier days. You’ll always find a kind, understanding space here—full of encouragement and practical support.

I’ve worked with autism (all levels), ADHD, FASD, PDA, intellectual disability, rare genetic conditions, trauma, schizophrenia, bipolar, ODD, OCD, PDA and so much more. If it’s a behaviour of concern—aggression, self-injury, elopement, pica, sexualised behaviours, school refusal, life-threatening stuff—I’ve supported it.
